I modded my bios and now it has a Lenovo OEM Slic2.1 table in it, thanks to the great guides and tools here. But now i am getting confused: Because MS blacklisted the OEM key as we all know...i installed W7 and tried the key, but couldnt activate. As i understand, there is no other OEM key out (yet) - so how on earth do you activate W7, with the currenty Lenovo OEM key blacklisted? Is there a way for a proper OEM SLIC2.1 activation right now...or do we have to wait for other OEM keys to be leaked? What should i do in case we have to wait til october for a proper working OEM key? Thx!
You cannot activate windows with the blacklisted key in the online mode as it won't work, instead you should follow this offline method:
Yes it is funny that he tried to activate OEM SLP online but many users are now activating retail keys online from technet, etc.
