So I have been wondering for a while if letting Windows 10 power options turning off my harddrives after say 30 mins, is actually a good idea.
whenever they are "sleeping" and i start using my pc in ways that makes windows wake the drives up, I have to wait for a second or two before they are up and running again.
Now this is not a massive problem for me but I have been wondering if this turning on and off is doing harm to the drives.
Maybe it would be better to set windows power options to never turn off the drives?

I have tried to google the problem but never found any info that sounded reliable, so I thought I would try asking on this forum (Seems like there is a healthy amount of nerds and gurus around here) :)
