I installed virtual pc xp mode a while ago. I saw local drive C: in the hard disk drive which has 126 GB. I was wondering where did that came from. is it just a virtual disk drive? if ever it is, can I save or install files in that drive? would it lessen my original disk space when I install something on that drive? Thanks!

Yes, it is a virtual drive. It is stored ion your c:\program files\Windoes XP Mode folder in a file called Windows XP Mode base.

You can use it like a normal HD, eg. install programs.

The data file will change its size dynamically depending on how much data is stored on your virtual HD.
