Question regarding ACER SLIC2.1

    Can any boby explain to me why only acer SLIC2.1 is deactivating VISTA, while other brands like HP, DELL, ......are not???.

    I know that ACER required new certificate but why only ACER??

    How did you update your SLIC to 2.1? I would like to know as I have the .BIN file from here and I would like to update the SLIC to 2.1 on my Acer Extensa. If you knwo please let me know.

    I have ACER desktop not notebook, so the bios modding is easier if you use the AMi or AWARD tools from ANDY. but for PHOENIX and INSYDE it require some body with experience and skills like YEN,

    So you can ask for mod in the specific thread for your bios type.

    i have Acer to with Phonex bios .but i can t activate ...Why only Acer :mad::confused:
