I been reading some threads and I don't get why people need to modify there bios for a crack to work? Also if I use a custom build system do I need to mod my bios to get some cracks to work?
You don't need to mod your bios to use any of the cracks or patches loaders e.c.t. But if you want to activate vista, xp, without loaders e.c.t you need a modded bios.
Actually for XP you need just XP vol and valid VLK serial. And MS thinks your copy is genuine without any cracks/patches/loaders/bios hacks. But with vista you are correct.
Ok so if I use a crack I don't need to modify my bios? and if I want windows to think its a copy from like dell I need to modify my bios?
What are you saying if you have XP Vol that is vlk also if you have a working key i know i have had some that are blacklisted but still work over in the US dont confuse the guy i,e, get vlk version of windows xp or mod bios.sorry now he is on to vista
