I have non-enterprise class hdds like a lot of people. I wanted to change the ERC on a "more permanent" scale. Current tools let you set the times but after power cycling the harddrives they are gone. I'm currently running win7. Any suggestions for anything from how to change these settings from within windows if possible, or boot to dos just long enough to change the settings via command line and then hop out of dos and into windows.

I'm running a RAID0+1 array. SMART isn't recognized in the RAID form of course, but SCT is needed to send the commands to change the ERC as far as I know. I have used HDAT2 so far to tweak these settings.
