I apreciate the thought but windows wont recognize the 32 bit driver in an x64 environment..at least the last time I checked
No problem! In fact Sandboxie is the only app I'm missing on my system. You can add MediaCoder to your list if you like.
Mediacoder will also be mentioned on the 64xsoft.com site. I find this site very usefull when searching for particular x64 software...
yawn...kids with noobish ideas and dreams again, just posting to feel satisfied instead of going to school.I bet you have no intimate relationships whatsoever and this forum is like your 24h home, noobies
Wow I'm not alone! XD Thanks for saving my tail there. >.=.>; Firefox beta user too huh? Wow Visual products are so bloated... Ion: I have no school, I didn't sign up for 3rd year of college this year.
if you are running a 32-bit O/S on 64-bit hardware than it is theoreticly possible to see more than 3.xGB ram. If you are running a 32-bit OS on 32-bit hardware, you CANNOT address more than 4GB MAX memory as there just aren't enough bits in the hardware to map it. So if you have 64 bit hardware then why in the world don't you use it and run a 64-but OS and not corrupt your OS by running utilities like these on a 32-bit O/S. Enough Said - Move on.
Fail Tried it on one of my test machines.. It messed up the boot sector... Reinstalled (Clean Install) Genuine Windows 7 Ultimate x86 Tried this patch again.. Messed up the boot sector again
PAE management is set up in the BCD I wouldn't be surprised if the tool that patches this windows edition's BCD isn't entirely compatible with all systems, afterall boot messup happens even with the best of loaders.
a 32bit OS is limited to 4GB max of system memory that's counting your video memory and on-board, this patch is worthless maybe only good if you were selling a system and wanted to rip some one off.
useless.. you guys might as well come up with the software that will modify your processor name to rip someone off even more...
Windows can access more than 4 GB of RAM by using Physical Address Extensions (PAE). Unfortunately, Microsoft disabled PAE starting with Windows XP SP2. It is possible that you could figure out a way to re-enable PAE.
