is using duality 420 to activate ms2013vl better/worse than using the "microsoft tookit"? or is it just a matter of personal preference? (also, is there any other better activators?) thanks
Well they both give same appearance and usage but toolkit activates and uses onstart and daily tasks to renew the KMS activation whereas IORRT just backs up good initial grace status and restores it infinitely either at boot or daily I think only KMS and IORRT work for 2013?
thanks guys. so in terms of long term stability (ie. updates, most unlikely to stop working etc), would you guys recommend d420 over kms activator/tool kit? also, it looks like d420 is much easier/faster to setup. is this the case, or have i missed something?
Unless you go into account to see if your activated, Toolkit and IORRT both give you same usage and appearance and they both are not affected by updates or service packs!
@ziigy Cody and I are both good developers and these tools have worked for like two years now at least I just revamped IORRT for 2013 from 2010 by changing the system path for rearming 2010 and 2013 both work with KMS/Rearm concepts I thank you for your posts about our solutions Have a nice day
thanks timesurfer for your replies. is there a link to the latest version of duality/iorrt somewhere?
We're in the middle of an final build so to speak for new innovations for the rearm concept and when it's done I'll post an easy to use download link Thanks for your post
If anyone want's to test our D420 RC let us know? s1lave77 or Humphrey can upload RC and give details on how to test More testers the better! Way to busy for the next few days Thanks
Not working. After typing IR5.bat, I get "ERROR: They system was unable to find the specified registry key or value." Then the batch file just hangs forever. Can someone tell me what is wrong and how to fix it? Thank you in advance.
I just checked IR6 on two Windows 7 machines. It failed on both. The instructions say it boots into RE after installing. I guess that's the one you get when selecting the ''Repair your PC'' boot entry. Well, neither of the two PCs has a working RE. The first is missing the ''Repair your PC'' option completely. IR6 simply does not do anything, it just reboots Windows normally. No changes to Rearms or anything else. The second one has that entry but fails with a 0xc000000e error. IR6 runs into that error condition, resulting in no changes as well. Tomorrow I'll try to repair that WinRE. If anyone has an idea that doesn't contain the words ''Reinstallation'' and ''Repair installation'', I'll be all ears. There must be a way through BCDEdit and setting proper security. But for now, good night. (4:22am here).
I could workaround on the second PC by booting from the Windows 7 DVD, running WinRE, and calling IR6 from that. Got back 5 rearms. When I do the same on my main PC, I get the following: Code: C:\>c:ir6 C:\drive.vbs(4,1) Microsoft VBScript runtime error: Overflow: '[number: 3049374496]' The syntax of the command is incorrect. C:\>_ Not sure why it is throwing that.
That's what I got when booting the WinRE (64bit) from the install DVD. While I have Acronis True Image installed (WD edition), that shouldn't lock anything, or? Have created a rescue disc from recdisc.exe and will try using this.
For testing IR6 with D420 RC please uninstall acronis If need be for accurate testing please do repair install Thank you
