As a solution developer/coder/tester for the past 2-3 years I have to come into the awareness that when designing a program for the global masses one must think greater than oneself One must consider all the desires or opinions of a few but when, as a MDL developer, I have to think what most will like and how a program will work for everyone overall. I alone envisioned the check.bat with theme and auto-rearm from my creativity. The same creativity that has been present in all my rearm en-devours from IR4/5/6 and with IORRT. This took a lot of work, thousands of hours, massive testing and a steadfastness that has produced the rearm concept in a overall user friendly and troubleshooting free design! In that I foresaw my check.bat concept to be hidden like all of D420. I never thought we'd be stuck with a startup console flashing and being visible When Masterdisaster and myself we're designing IR4 we initially had to restart when rearming, then MD discovered we could rearm inside windows with no restart. THAT was an improvement! To say it is better to have to restart to rearm is extremely ridiculous! Eventually I thought it also good to get IR6 task to run silent and that also was an REAL improvement! People who use softwares like there programs to be seamless, automated and simple to use. If something that can be hidden vs. visible then from an developers stance it is better! My desires for my check.bat concept was to improve an automated way for people to use the rearm concept to have W7 with the same usage and appearance as if activated and check.bat was my intention to better D420/IR6/IORRT not give thousands of users a flashing console at the boot for them to view despite their wishes for things to run silent like all programs do in the MDL and non-MDL development arenas! So given in a comprehensive understanding that this program is to be used my many not just one, I have to stand by my original intentions with my check.bat concept being an actual improvement not a step backward Further more s1ave77 did not intend for the check.bat console to flash at startup but indeed that is where we have landed in unconditionally giving of time and code desgin towards the 3rd and only W7 rearm solution next to the 2nd and 1st solutions which are obviously KMS and Daz Like always I appreciate and honor all time put into my original concept projects and at the very least we have learned and grown as batch coders for future batch and coding projects I have watched you for almost 3 years now evolving from an batch coder to an real language expert not to mention your tireless efforts with KMS from W7 to now all MS OS's I kinda wish we could colaberate with a hidden service for IR6/IORRT hence D420 I know that AutoRearm, designed in tandem with IORRT, doesn't get much attention nor have I ever seen anyone in your thread ever mention it since your KMS activation seems to rule regarding 2010/13 and MS OS's However IORRT does get a lot of attention for both 2010/13 and works absolutely perfect It would be a consideration that the office 2010/13 could be our project in D420 in tangent with improved IR6 services to run my check.bat concept hidden to backup/restore theme and auto rearm when user had their computer was off when IR6 task was suppose to run thus W7 gives notification/watermark and black theme/wallpaper status If your into it and given you are very high on the D420 co-developer list if you wanted to do a .NET for D420 I would be into sharing and polishing the still viable rearm concept into an awesome GUI Either way I thank you for all your help and your post in my thread timesurfer
Is it possible to have a log file outputted to a location? Say the desktop and say it has in it a the details of the last operation check/ir6/iorrt performed. Say the one of the task that is completed silently, after its done, a bit of code is ran to check to see what the outcome is and outputs the results to said log file.
Sneaky but great idea Humphrey Also we can for auto rearm just run IR6 task if rearm is required and it will be hidden so when s1ave77 shows what code check.bat in for what versions can't run silent then we can decide what versions to support so check.bat concept runs silent Thanks
@TD420 I guess our attempt to synchronize towards an updated rearm concept did not work out?! Let me be clear! This latest check.bat concept was my idea and it failed and that was on me alone. Those who helped and provided code and testing we're not at fault as the ideal way for my check.bat concept should be to run silent and due to certain limitations via batch it did not work out as intended, but as usual I am very appreciative and grateful for all your assistance with my project IORRT still works great and is ideal for Office 2013 IMHO and has been working perfectly for 3+ years now with 0% troubleshooting as long as there is 1 rearm to facilitate the restore/rearming IR6 is still great although not as perfect as Daz but nonetheless a great project and a great MDL learning experience. Many things with batch coding that have not been previously done with my rearm concept we're created and batch coding was indeed furthered thus giving many batch code enthusiasts new ways to code and write batch programs I wish everyone who participated in this project great times and happyness as you gave me great times and happyness also I'll be around to support those who like this project and again if someone want's to work on a service based GUI I will work with you All my love and respect TS
It's essentially as good as it can get when using Batch only. Service based solution would also avoid UAC popups. I might be talking rubbish, but could PowerShell fare any better than pure CMD?
Windows Update ask me for Office 2010 SP2 32bit (KB2687455). Now, I'm sure no , but are there any problems with IORRT if I update it?
Hi I don't know if someone already got Check.bat to run silently, but to do that, I made a "Check.vbs" with the code below Code: CreateObject("WScript.Shell").Run "C:\IR6\Check.bat", 0 and in Task Scheduler, the task "Hybrid2" instead to call the Check.bat, I made it to call the Check.vbs I hope this help something Betaler
Does it still show the dialog windows this way? If not the user has no way to interact with them and it gets stuck.
Hello, I installed IR6 and now when I restart my computer, I get a window saying I'm not genuine, and asking to enter my Windows serial number. I uninstalled IR6, reinstalled it, but the same happens every time I restart my computer, and in the lower right corner of the screen it says Windows is not genuine. What can I do? Thank you.
Hello, I applied the IR6 patch and now Windows says I'm not genuine, it is asking for key. How could I fix it? Thanks.
@ calande, that is your own fault you should have taken time to read information on download page. you should have unticked the box and you would have downloaded File: Duality 420.zip Size: 8.69 KB
