1.format usb flash with fat 2.download bios from -- support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=K42De 3.rename K42Deas.208 to K42De.bin 4.copy to usb flash 5.remove battery and power cord 6.insert usb flash drive notebook 7.While press CTRL+ALT+HOME insert power cord and push power button. 8.When it's appear like this, recovery is succesful. 9.i sucessfully recovery my notebook with this menthod.
works with K54C.bin weird with no usb.. hdd i guess CTRL Home (no alt) let me recover to 201 when i had 210 !! EHH NOW ITS BRICKED no USb lights up. moral to story .. take HDD out.
