I accidentally deleted a folder full with files. Some of them is important to me. Mostly text files. I have tried to recover the files I need with Recuva but it did not found the files I needed. Is there better software that can do better job and maybe find the files I need? The disk that the files was on is an NVMe SSD disk.

Doesn't trim play a role in whether files can be recovered on an SSD?

if they were just recently deleted and the sectors weren't over-written, there is still a good chance for recovery.

I use Active@ Partition Recovery Ultimate and it has saved me many times from even accidentally formatting a partition to restoring it back as if nothing happened within a few seconds.

It's very hard to nigh impossible to recover files on SSDs. Physical pages and logical sectors never match, due to the advanced wear leveling algorithms. In other words, Writing data two times into the very same logical sectors/LBAs will almost always have that data end up in two completely different physical cells of the NAND flash.

Good luck trying to find a free tool to recover files, honestly. I removed tons of files on my other partition, I even removed the partition itself once, I have not touched it since, yet no tool was able to recover a single file! No backup = no luck. :pissy:
