recover my old Windows 8

    Hi, I recently bought an hp pavilion g6 laptop and installed a fresh copy of windows 8.1 from usb.


    The laptop originally came with windows 8 and had a recovery partition which was D drive.

    I copied all the contents of recovery partition to an external HDD.


    But now i want to recover from that partition and now it is in laptop in F drive.

    Plz tell me how to do it from the HDD in laptop

    Most recovery partitions work simply by booting from them.
