Recovery Partition

    Anyone know where i can find a recovery disk image, or an image of a recovery partition for an IBM Thinkpad T42 Laptop? i have a disk from a t43p, but it doesnt work with the t42

    You can order them from Lenovo for a price.
    Did you delete your recovery partition?

    Why are you looking for recovery partitions.If you have any problem then you should restore your laptop, it will be problem free.
    Press F11 when it is booting up to get the the recovery menu. You will have an option to restore to factory settings. If the partition is missing or won't work, you will have to call Lenovo at 1-800-IBM-SERV and order recovery cds. Cost is $45 plus tax. Least it beats paying $200 for a retail version of Windows XP.
