I had the same thing. version installed was 7989 on the 7959 files not the 7955 release...
    activated by Retail KEY.....
    installed REDPILL 1.3.5.1 over
1.) ask for unlock 99% icons,
    2.) install 7971 TM
    3.) set to default
it all seemed to be OK _ i then decided to use UTR-7989 full
    rebooted
watermark went away..... but then i need to go back to Win 7 - this is a dual boot
about 20 min later i went back to Win 8 7989.... failed to reboot with Explorer error.
it would not shutdown... or restart - so had to unplug adapter - remove battery....
upon again test on Win 8 7989 same thing Explorer.exe fails to load.
    hope this helps.
PS: It was a CLEAN install with only REDPILL 1.3.5.1 and UTR_7989 being used...

additional info: I did have Drop box installed and Redpill instantly killed it...

It refers to a resource inside Twinui.dll
But it's nothing special. There are hundreds of these links in register. ;)

Yeah, special version coming today? As canouna said 50% yesterday and 100% today. As some icons still missing from ribbon, and I really want to see the history vault icons in explorerframe.

I don't understand, why UTR will conflict with RedPill Enabler? I use the combination UTR and RedPill Enabler in my PCs running 7989, no problems at all. This build is very odd...

Sorry but today i dont make any release, I'm so tired, but tomorrow i release a new version for sure with some new things.
    Thanks for the test.

I don't test, it just a supositon, but you say it work so the problems was not a conflict of the two apps

Just a question, you use the last version of my RedPill chbaldo ?

Yep, I use the latest version of RedPill Enabler. I removed version 1.1, removed UTR, runned sfc /scannow, applied latest version and finally applied UTR.
