I thought Build 7989 was the latest? Am I missing one, if so, where can I get the latest build?

It is the latest leaked, but before it had 7955. That build didn't gave any trouble, but 7989 is becoming pure headache.

For users it's nice, but for developers... timesurfer's IR5 for Windows 8 just breaks activation, my UTR is giving compatibility problems with RedPill Enabler, a lot of trouble actually...

    @Vizion

I've made clean install ,installed MSE ,Office 2010 and all other programs I've had on 7955 and after all that ,I've first installed 1.3.5.0 and I selected all extras and there was no problem!

Then ,when 1.3.5.1 got out ,first I disabled 1.3.5.0 ,restarted PC ,and then I've enabled 1.3.5.1 and all extras on it!
Right away I've noticed lag on log on and applications that start with system.
Hour later ,when I wanted to restart PC to my main OS ,system stuck on log off screen with ''Restarting'' and frozen Aero ring!

    That's about it!

There's nothing wrong with this build ,problem are pills that don't work!
    :sorry: :worthy:

Only change in 1.3.5.1 was the twinui fix according to the change log. So maybe there's something wrong with the code doing that? Try re-applying it without the twinui fix and see if you get the lag.

Chris123NT, can UTR's hash removal (that uses your method) really be the cause of all this problem with RedPill Enabler 1.3.5.1?

Are there any explorer related issues occuring? I haven't used UTR and I have no issues. But if there are explorer issues happening then it COULD be, since explorer heavily depends on shell32, but i would be very surprised if UTR is the cause.

EDIT: I was just talking to someone who is seeing the lag and has NOT used UTR, so I doubt UTR is causing this.

Sounds to me like people who used older versions then use the newer one without reinstalling are having issues

There was a restarting problem with 7989 even before using redpill, when I tried to restart the pc, it went frozen. After running sfc /scannow, it's not frozen anymore, but it still takes longer time to restart or start the pc than build 7850 or 7955. I wonder if someone could figure out how to fix this problem...

Nope, 7850 doesn't need it, everything on it can be unlocked using reg files.

but why not patch the wim file so that everything is enabled out of the box? if taskUI is too buggy then maybe taskUI from 7955 could be installed?

OK, wow been testing to see if I can duplicate the CRASH.
Yes, I can duplicate the CRASH - Explorer stops will not load an system is BORKED 100%.
    1. clean install Win 8 7989 x64
    2. Activate with Key
    3. install redpill 1.3.5.1 with all options - using new icons not pre-beta (simply great)
    4. use UTR _7959 - 100% failure with part 1.
    part 1. cnf7959.dll.mui - fails 100%
    part 2. wtr7959.dll.mui -fails 100%
part 3. replace the shell32.dll - this causes the Explore.exe to stop...
    thus 100% borked system.
If you do part 2 first and when you reboot the watermark is gone ... DO NOT DO A FULL SHUTDOWN. hybrid is ok.
because the shell32 does not read properly and you have Explorer.exe failure.

verified 2 times... so to be SAFE i recommend u do not use the UTR_7959. until it is fixed.
    sorry bout UTR_7959.

Snuffy, I hope you meant UTR 7989 and not 7959

    "4. use UTR _7959 - 100% failure with part 1.
    part 1. cnf7959.dll.mui - fails 100%
    part 2. wtr7959.dll.mui -fails 100%
