    You might try disable redpill if you used an earlier one.... reboot then
    run SFC /scannow to fix any corruption
    Reboot use the latest 1.4.0.1
    1.4.0.1 works in my 7955. also

    I used sfc right after i installed and am using 1.4.0.1


    Can somebody just upload the task manager files so i can do this manually?

    Not bit defender, windows defender, because windows defender may prevent you from running that program...

    Ok i copied tm.exe and tm.exe.mui from my laptop to my desktop and windows opens the "Advanced task manager" without even clicking the "performance dashboard". And then 5 seconds later the task manager from windows 7 opens up...ugh, i might just reinstall.

    Have you tried to see what happens if you do not try to use 7971 TM...
    7971 TM kills my TM all to gether.... (test) and i had to do a restore back to prior.
    still activated then used 1.4.0.1 and used only enable Redpill.. I have a new TM works fine,"performance dashboard works fine.
    so I have red circle icons... big deal... its 7955, when i want all the good stuff
    I switch to 7989.

    OK fixed it. I'm pretty sure its a bug with 1.4.0.1 because even after reinstalling i still had the issue. What I did was disable redpill, use 1.3.0.0 then use 1.4.0.1.

    It is not for 7850, go to first page, 7850 is not included.

    I know, am on 7955 now and its working good, but 1 day left (timebomb) and am on x86 only thing is 7850 from now, thats whay i ask if the slc.dll working in 7850 :p

    All features in 7850 should already be enabled.

    Hmm but you need a slc.dll to unlock them and reg edit to enabel them like the other builds...

    7850 doesn't have all features that newer builds have.

    You can hide it by checking the "Minimize the Ribbon".

    Why everybody answers the different question that had been asked? The question was: Is it possible to turn off Ribbon without turning off other RP features? Back to 7850 / 7955 ribbon could be activated via registry witouth RP patching. Is it possible to do the same with 7989 or in another way get default Explorer with other RP features enabled?

    Answer. Yes, it's possible, but not done in RedPill Enabler.
