Activation has been successful for me - BUT - if you advance your PC clock to November 2010, it says, "beta activation has expired."" So, by activating with token.dat & pkeyconfig-office.xrm-ms from thwe BETA version, uninstalling it and installing the Corporate version, (and runing script, etc... etc) it is not fool-proof and still knows it was originated from the BETA class. Another method will have to be found.
Do you happen to be using an x86 version of Office on an x64 version of Windows? Because if you are, you're going to have to substitute "%ProgramFiles(x86)%" anywhere in the script you see "%ProgramFiles%". Also, what is the output of that /dstatus line I had mentioned?
I have installed beta2 x64 Office proplus on Windows 7 x64 and RTM 4734 volume WZOR... i control all hash. I have all x64 on my pc. No problem i wait a new solution and fnal RTM of Office. Tx Alex
I thought you were supposed to edit activate.cmd to replace the key with your MAC Beta key. How does one do that with three different keys for Office Professional, Visio and Project?
you only need to edit the proplus key the token.dat file will take care of visio and project. it worked for me so it should work for most others too
not yet, i think it wil be best to wait for the final build to start indepth workarounds. besides rtm will be out long before this build will expire, so no worries
Has anyone tried Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus RC0 Build 4734-WinBeta? It's not supposed to ask for a key.
@brut7: I tried. It's not different, It's same as VL before. It needs activation. If you don't activate and take time 1 month, It stops working.
So what's the activation patch we should use now on 4734? The one in this thread of the other thread 4730?
The one on the first page of the last thread. I don't recall what's posted in this thread, but nothing's changed. It's just the batch file you're interested in--you'll want to use your own token and pkey files.
Thank you. Finally it's work for me..sheewwwss.... Tip. 1 -> "delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OfficeSoftwa reProtectionPlatform registry key after uninstalling Office 2010 Beta." Tip.2 -> run cmd admin--> activate.cmd
