    Most likely you are not able to understand what you reading.

    One can NOT do remote administration (using RSAT) from 7 to Win Server 2012R2

    That has NOTHING to do with remote desktop (which works fine from any version of Windows and Linux & Mac to 2012 R2)

    Do not have this one installed, never had ANY problem connecting to 2012 R2 from Win 7 x64
