I just did that but apparently it shows up before the 4 hours when you already had your watermark active the last time when you shutdown your computer. (when I booted and saw the metro interface the watermark was already there)

So did you already have the Watermark visible when you rebooted? because I have to say I've never seen it when I cold boot, even after it's been on. I did when I logged off & back on once tho (I think).

Do you happen to have Fast Start enabled (Power Options Plan)? I had the watermark appear EVERY boot for me until I actually selected "Restart" instead of "Shutdown" - as soon as I disabled fast boot, the issue stopped.

Fast boot uses hibernation file to store core services etc so maybe that's keeping the watermark alive?

@fires nope, but if someone wants to create a automatic patcher they are free
    to do so.

@dummekuehe this will only patch Windows version and build string like .mui patch

The overlay activation watermark is already gone heheh with the thread kill :p even if activation for some reason gone away, thread kill is working when you are entering in windows, and with that tool (build number etc remover) you will never see watermark again!

Good work guys, and we want to thank you for your effort.
If you keep trying, i want to thank you personnaly 1 milion times more hehe:)

    THANKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKS

Is the patching of shell32 better then the muis method or are the two completely unrelated?

This is weird I booted up 2 PC's today for the first time and the activation overlay returned on both. Thats with seps patcher. I checked the startup folder and it says its there . Rebooted and its gone ill check it again in 3hours. Btw it says thread killer(2) in startup. Any ideas?

No in that case you have to open Task Manager, right click "Windows Explorer" and pick restart, then manually run Thread Killer
