exactly and you did replace the 32 bit version of a .dll with x64 version ( which is the patched one ) leave it to proper guys and we will be all set
Syswow64 is the 32bit folder people. If you want to replace your 64bit files you will have to go to System32 I know it is a bit confusing. But if you replace the wrong files you won't be able to see any results. EDIT: oh too late
Okay, wow, so now I'm really confused. 1) is the x64 patch working? 2) do you place it in system32 or syswow64? I'm thinking system32.
No, because such a patch must be tested on many various machines. If nobody tests it, there will be no patch in the future.
Yes but it has to be tested properly! You can't just go around randomly replacing files. And then after 3 hours say that it is working. Replace the right file and wait for 8 hours or sth like that. Then you can say it works!
I find a tool which is called "My WCP Watermark editor v1.0.1" it works like a charm! all watermark including activation and build is removed! google it and u will find ... hope this will end fighting! EDIT1: latest version is not 1.1 it is 1.0.1 my bad EDIT2: my windows is windows 8 pro RTM x64 downloaded from this forum!
"My WCP Watermark editor v1.1" ????? where is it ???? Only version 1.0.1 is to download. It says me: "Are you sure you are on Windows 8 Beta?" WTF ???!!! About a Twinui.dll trick, after 2 hrs i have a watermark on my desktop.
i don't know whether i could change colors before this patch or couldn't because i am not activated so i couldn't change color ...
I found the best way to run MyWCP watermark editor 1. start task manager (by ctrl del or right click the bottom left of screen) 2. click the small arrow (more details) 3. end the process Windows Explorer (do not close task manager) 4. click File/ Run New task. click Browse to find the MyWCP watermark editor.exe and run it. if you need reboot. If not follow step 4. but instead of running the MyWCP watermark editor.exe run c:\Windows\Explorer.exe . tested on Windows Enterprise x86 Can someone upload twinui.dll for Win Ent. x64 So we can Analyze
it's not the patching of the file that's causing your watermark to hide, it's the fact your closing explorer, it gives you 4 hours from the time you start explorer.exe off again. -EDIT- Also we've uploaded the x64 dll to 3 hosts in previous posts.
yeah usually people only pay for the larger numbers, those smart enough to realize an old version of a tool that can do the jobs you need it to & sometimes works better will not care what date is on it, The fact they haven't updated the drivers means they are good, I'd rather know when it was compiled, than having my files internal dates match up.
