Edge has just got a little better after the update, as I predicted in post #13, and it now supports "paste and go" which saves hitting the return key.
It was about time. It's 15 years ago that Opera invented the Paste and Go. Now Vivaldi is still innovating, like opera did for almost 20 years, and MS is cloning some of them. Better than nothing. But one week of Vivaldi development = 4 months of edge development, so it will never be on par.
edge can be removed without breaking things, but if you completely remove ie, it does break some things; can't create url shortcuts some installers stop working few other issues i can't recall for windows 10, if you uninstall ie the normal way through control panel, outlook throws up an error when you try and click links in emails, even if edge is set as the default browser.
