Yes it is possible but would require modifying explorer.exe. I know a guy that looked into it and explorer.exe has some code in it that must be removed but I think notepad.exe has it too. I also know that Internet Explorer does too though lol. IK there must be another way to achieve this though, if someone can figure out how to break the connection between the timebomb and the activation system then it would be possible.
In theory this should work since you are taking the win7 activation files and migrating them to Win8 but come the final build of win8 this will not work just like they were killed in the final release of win7. For these developer builds it should work though. I never tried but it but should still lol. Do you really need to migrate the WIM files too though?

The time is scare. Please work on an timebomb remover (also for build 7959). I think it's the same way as in 7955.
you can rearm windows 3 times, that will get you 180 days to use it, until then beta is out dont worry
Looks like you don't know what rearm does, do you? Rearm has exactly nothing to do with the timebomb, rearm is just for the activation period.
You may remove the timebomb, but how did you get it to activate excatly after that ? Don't you get a 'Page failed to load' error or something?
You can always rearm three times. That will hopefully get us to the Beta release rumored to be out by September
you can rearm but time bomb will be in therefore after 2 July system will restart PC every two hours.
In case you still don't know, timebomb has nothing to do with rearm!!!! It's a FIXED DATE TIMEBOMB! You can not avoid it with activating or rearm
Since Bluepill 3.0 has been put on hold ,it looks like after July2 we will have to deal with W8 shutting down every 2 hours. No real biggie since it is just an Alpha release and nobody is using it as a W7 replacement...right?
or you can just change bios date one day before the timebomb is expired, and disabling update with internet time..... That's all..... Message for BluDev staff that has promised this..... We have heard only words but nothing real....

Now I have successfully removed the timebomb, but it says that windows is not genuine and I can't activate it.
