Replace the original bin in the sp55375.exe package with the modded one But I think this is not enough ...
What do you think might be missing? What might not be enough? I really appreciate your time and efforts.
The problem is the RSA signed bios. When you modify this kind of bios you break the digital signature and the flasher can't rewrite the modded bios correctly And I don't know a working method to do it
Ipmark, I replaced the 017FC.bin that you provided me in a package that Camilo over at bios-mods gave me that had a modded flasher with hopes it might flash the BIOS. It seemed like it was going to work but on re-boot it went into BIOS Recovery and re-flashed my stock sp55375 BIOS. Oh well, at this point it was worth a try. I had to give it a try, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Thanks again...
HA! Update 3 Well used the Phoenix Tool 1.95, was able to separate the modules, but couldn't find any part of my currently installed device ID. I would just like to use my new card, so adding the device ID or whitelist removal is great! Anybody have an idea where in the bios file the code might be? I found several filler spots and a couple security but no 'whitelist' type heading. Thanks, Joe

Hi, I am despereately looking for help and you guys seem the friendliest to do it. I am currently running Mac OSX on my HP Pavilion DV6-3109ea but the wifi card that comes with it means that I am having incompatibilities with certain aspects of the OS. So I bought a Dell Wireless 1510 Mini PCIe to replace when I came face to face with "that" error. I am finding it hard to get all the required information but here is what I do know. I also realise that for flashing my bios I will have to jump back to windows which I am happy to do once I know I have a solution. Here is what I know. BIOS: Insyde F.28 Model: HP Pavilion DV6-3109ea BIOS File: 52953.exe Old WLAN: Ralink RT3090 New WLAN: Dell Wireless 1510 Can provide the file if needs be. Please let me know if there is any more info. Would like either whitelist removed or my card added but I know I am not providing full info. Thanks Danny
