Hi has any one hacked the white list out of the Lenovo 3000N100 (0768), I have just purchased an IBM/Lenovo AGN wifi card to replace the standard ABG wifi card and it keeps throwing (Code 10) error. Please help, sincerely 7_of_99. I want to do it myself but cannot find some of the tools...
yes it works, i just tried different wireless cards and it works perfect... it only give check sum error, and logo is gone , but thats fine with me.. i was also wondering, does this patch also works if i replaced the hard disk? thanks
hi serge update: i have tried several wireless cards, they all work fine. now i am trying WWAN, it seems the blue led turns on, and the bios pass the check, but in the operating system, it'd not recognized... i have checked the card on another motherboard (not HP motherboard) the card works fine. i am not sure what could be the issue... let me know if you have any thoughts, or WWAN white list is not cracked? Update2: after starting the OS, i hot-unplugged the card, and re-plug it again (without turning off the power), the OS recognized the card for 5 seconds, and then it disappeared ... it happens frequently, so its recognized now every about 10 seconds, and for 5 seconds, usually, i noticed the WWAN color is blue when the OS recognize it, and red when it's not. and this led keeps turning led/blue 10seconds red, 5 seconds blue... and as i said, if i put the card, and turn on the power, the led turn blue while the bios is running, then its the same , 10sec off, 5 sec on...
How did you clear the whitelist for the wireless then?? you must have disasm 1b module and found where it jumps over the code... i am not asking to trouble you, just if you can try please.
It didn't help to disable Anti-vrius, same error (I use MS Security Essentials). When I flashed the modified 68LTU (I just used a hex editor to modify it), I used the "erompaq.exe" application (using FreeDOS). I don't know how this tool works, but it didn't give me any error messages. I'll try the other ROM.CAB and flash util you posted now. add: ...but the same thing happened, after three attempts the old BIOS was flashed. add2: I also tried to update the BIOS by using the erompaq.exe application and the last 68LTU.BIN you posted. The erompaq utility finished very quickly, so I think it detected that there was something wrong and aborted the BIOS installation. However, there was no output from the utility that said something like that. I tried to put in the Intel network card after this, but it is still not accepted.
