    I don't think it's the screen, but then it could be anything. But i will find out when PC World have had a look inside the laptop.

    Update - I've found a way to use the laptop without the tv, when i reboot the laptop, i always put the lid down, than after roughly 4 secs lift it back up, and everything works, as it did before. If i don't do this, then i'll get the blank screen treatment again.

    Looking for the SLIC 2.1 for HP dv9910us. I heard that "HP_DV6000_DV9000_Compaq_V6000_AMD_30CFF34_sp52477_ SLP_SLIC21_no_whitelist.zip" will work just fine although I cannot seem to find a live link. Any help on a repost would be appreciated.
