Yes, you wont boot to Windows after flashing the new original bios. Remove the new card, flash the original bios, reboot PC, flash the modified bios, reboot the PC and insert the new card
VT-x is usable with the bios I had originally. I have not tested the version that your mod is based on however.
Hi , i need help please , i have an Acer Iconia W500 with Atheros mpcie wlan card with BT 3 , i changed it to Intel 6235 with BT 4 and i get black screen when i start the tablet (cant get into bios ), when i remove it windows starts just normaly. the card works in other laptop. Bios Version is 1.14 do i need another bios? thanks
Hi Serg008 , i did exactly step by step to get the unknown device in the device manager but i didnot get it. by the way the integrated Bluetooth 4 inside the Intel 6235 is working fine i even can turn it on and off with Acer Launch manager . only the Wireless Lan doesnot show up at all , not in device manager and not in Acer Launch manager. this happend on windows 7 and windows 8. same. how can bluetooth work and my Bios has a whitelist? thanks
