It means that the bios image file not found in folder. How do you flashed the modified bios ? Unpack the Ipmark's archive file, go to the "Mod" folder and run "Mod.bat" file as Administrator (as Ipmark wrote)
Hi Serg, Thanks. The mod.bat file does not work because the rom file is named incorrectly. The Pheonix flash utility cannot find it. However I loaded the flash utility directly and browsed to the rom file manually and it worked. Not sure what effect bypassing the lenovo utility has but it worked fine. Intel 512AN working great. Many Thanks for your help.
Hey Serg008, I was wondering if you knew what I could do to fix this? Would you like me to try the bios version the mod is based on? I do know for sure that VT-x worked with the bios I had prior to the mod. The bios option also worked, enabling and disabling it in the bios worked.
Yeah, as I mentioned previously, that does nothing. No setting will actually enable VT-x with the mod I have installed. It did work with the older (non modified) bios I had installed previously.
did work with v1.29 or v1.30 non modified bios ? Try to flash original (non modified) v1.30 bios and check VT
It looks like I had 1.21 (6auj13uc) installed previously. At the very least that's the only bios file I have on my file share. I hadn't done a bios update in a long time (had no reason to). I'll try 1.30 soon.
