    Hello there,
I have a basic question you may answer. Is it in principal possible to change the Video output settings in the Bios to accept a new display panel with a higher resolution in a notebook? Its a Lenovo U310 with a Intel HD Grafik 3000 and a LED Display in 1366 x 768, 16:9 Format. There is one which would physically and connector wise fit with a 1600x900 resolution.

    thanks in advance

Yes I created a bootable DOS USB and copied the files to it. I changed the BIOS to allow it to boot from legacy
I ran flash1.bat and flashall.bat and still got the same error : 234 both times

Hey all. I've been reading all day for a way to get past the whitelist check in the BIOS for various laptops. My laptop is a Lenovo T420 running the Phoenix SecureCore Tiano BIOS (version 1.36).

I've tried to download the BIOS and use the phoenix bios editor 2.2 on the resulting FL1 and FL2 files but didn't get anywhere. I also read somewhere that the securecore bios's cannot be modified. Is this true? I'd like to be able to install the wireless card I just bought (iWavePort WLE350NX) but I'd love to modify the BIOS myself. I tried to follow the steps after opening the .FL1/2 files but according to the explainations I was supposed to end up with 1-8 BIOS* files. Instead I ended up with hundreds of randomly named files none of which started with BIOS*.

Does anyone know if and how I can get the whitelist bypassed for my t420? The model number is 4177CTO.

    Thanks for any information.
