    From what I've read it's possible and has been done. I modified the whitelist, just now I have to flash it somehow. Flas**t says BIOS did not support this version of flash and Insyde doesn't want to flash, either signature error or IHISI SMI write fail. Do you know any way to flash a modded Bios?

    Hi, I have a Lenovo IdeaPad N580 and really want to install an Intel 7260-HMWB Wireless AC card, I was hoping someone might help me remove the whitelist on my bios.

    BIOS ID: QIWG5
    Version: 5ECN96WW(V9.01)

    I tried using FPT-backDOS.rar to make a backup of my bios but got this error message "Error 104: The 2 SPI flash devices do not have compatible command sets."

    that was after the bios said it was valid and the two spi version numbers were shown along with the file sizes
