    I already use that bios with success , but I have the problem I mentioned above, that's why I want a new bios with the atheros.

    I have a question before I request a bios.
    Is there already a bios mod for the HP 8470p and/or 8460p with the whitelist removed, if not is it possible to mod their bios?
    I believe they both have UEFI/EFI bios.

    Never mind I found a thread stating the sp6-- series of bios updates are RSA signed and not possible to mod at this time.

    OK, I cannot see which of the two BIOS files to flash! I have seen comments about a 32-bit and 64-bit BIOS but why? All BIOSes run in real mode and the "size" is of no concern. Is 309B0F54.wph the right one, or is 309B1F54.wph the right one for a Compaq Presario V5000? The model of mine is V5115CA and the processor is an AMD turion.
