The only occurrence I found for the original card was in DxeOemDriver, nowhere else. I will keep looking though.

I took a look at your BIOS and see that your card can be found in PostKeyFnDrv, SetupUtility, MiscSubclass and BiosLockPcie.

How did your card behave when you used it with the original BIOS? Was the WiFi device visible in device manager?

my hardware radio was off, i could not start it, and i had "whitelist" removed bios updated about a year ago.
so i rewrote the original bios and got the "104 wrong wireless lan" message on boot, with a little search i modified it myself, and reflash it. anyway you will find your card in BiosLockPcie section, which you will have to extract, and modify by hex editor, then "replace" with andy's tool.

Thanks! Now I'm feeling like a complete nitwit, but the download button doesn't seem to work. Tried three different browsers on two different systems, and it either just "clicks" with no result (IE), or I get a "waiting for server" message and a loading indicator for a few seconds before it all just stops (FF and Chrome). I have of course disabled any and all add-ons, flashblock, adblock and anything like that. What am I doing wrong?
