Maybe an expanation is in place to support my questions above. The furthest I reached was: Latest Bios SP67218 F50 for the 2540p Unpack Sp67218.exe in SP67218 directory and than unpacked ROM.cab in SP67218/rom/ directory Used Andy's tool 259 to extraxt Rom.bin Made 2 modifications in the dumpfiles with HxD. Andy's tool repacked in ROM_SLIC.bin and I changed the name in ROM.bin Repacked the cab with Cabpack selecting the "rom"directory en put it in the SP67218 directory. Flashed with the HPQFlash patched version, and there an error occured and can not flash. Even tried with original HPQFlash, but noluck Like I said, I've read everything I could find and since there is no answer available, I have to conclude there is no solution yet. So I will write it off.
