Thank you for responding, my friend. So there is no way to remove the Whitelist from my laptop? :(

I want to clarify something: if I install a network card my laptop recognizes it the first time, but when I restart I get the error 104 :( Is there any way to remove the whitelist through Windows?

Hey guys, sorry if this is an incorrect spot to post this. I'm completely new to flashing bios and such.
I have a Lenovo Ideapad z710 that the wifi card died in recently. I purchased a stock Intel 3160 AC card to replace it to find out that Lenovo has whitelisting in their bios. Again, this is all news to me. I am not sure if what is being done in this topic is what I need but I can't for the life of me figure out a way to flash the bios with the whitelisting removed. I found several topics on various sites showing how to do it but with the z710 bios, I cannot reflash due to various error messages between being non-secure to an invalid image.

I just need to be able to use the new wifi card.

    Motherboard Manufacturer and Model:
Lenovo Ideapad z710 - (System Info says baseboard info is unavailable)
    Bios Revision: Lenovo 7FCN96WW, 5/12/2014
Bios Type: Insyde BIOS /ACPI 2.0
Bios SLIC: (Unsure what this is or how to find it.)
    Bios Link:
    Code:
    support . lenovo . com/us/en/products/Laptops-and-netbooks/IdeaPad-Z-Series-laptops/IdeaPad-Z710-Notebook/downloads/DS100523
When I run SLIC_Toolkit I get told that the SLIC dump is ok but SLIC OEM ID or Digital Signature Error! - Version is labeled 0.0 and digital signature shows Error. I'm not too sure what other info would be of use for this.

    The card I purchased is:
    Code:
    www . newegg . com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2F83VU2735
The card currently in the system is an Intel 7270 Wireless-N.

If there is anything else I can give to get this working let me know. Again sorry for being a noob with this stuff.
