Serg008, Please help! I need bios with killed whitelist for install Wifi adapter Intel 7260HMW. Manufacturer : Lenovo Model : Lenovo z580 Bios Revision : 5fcn95ww Bios Type : UEFI Phoenix I'm new here, can you help ?
******************* SOLVED ***************** Hello Serg008 , may I ask you to lend me a hand with a Lenovo g580 BIOS. If you`re too bussy, and with just so little time, I can try to do it by myself... thought I`m not that familiar with binary code... Any programs to help with the BIOS backup will be good enough to start doing something with the WHITELIST to install a dual band mini pci adapter. Thanks in advance, Germán. The Intel centrino N6205 Dual band 300mbps works in the Lenovo g580 (mod 20150) with BIOS 5ECN39WW (V3.05) without removing the whitelist. Have in mind that this mini pci adapter doesn´t have BT. Cheers!
Hello, I'm looking for a way to allow my laptop to boot with a 4G module that is supposed to be compatible with it. Fact is that the brand/model are ok, but VIDID pair doesn't seem to be ok for BIOS. At boot I get this error message and the laptop stops right here : 1802: Unauthorized network card is plugged in - Power off and remove the network card (413C/81B6). System is halted I know there is an old tool named "no 1802" but it doesn't seem to be compatible with my T460s unfortunately. So I'm looking for a way to modify the latest Lenvo BIOS to bypass/disable this error. Thanks for your precious help on that one MODers
If you claim that it must be compatible with this type of computer and it is whitelisted in BIOS, then did you remove the computer battery and BIOS battery before the replacement? NB! After replacing the BIOS battery, you may need to review the BIOS settings.
Hello and thanks for your answer, Actually, I'm pretty sure this model exists as an option to this laptop model. Buuuuuut, seems like this card is not the one Lenovo provides. Anyway, if there is any way/chance to bypass this infamous 1802 error, I would greatly appreciate. If there is a software solution that would be even better (I doubt), and if it is the hard way (like using a SOIC8 socket to dump BIOS contents, modify and then re-inject), I'm ok, I have everything needed ... except the modifying knowledge on BIOS coding.
I wonder who said or claimed it? Besides, this recommendation is for the same problem and the same computer type given in the Lenovo forum and as the miracle - it worked. But of course there is nothing to do with the OP system.
