    should I bother and talk to HP what can they do for me? When ordering this laptop I was to cancel it, but they gave an extra refund so I decided to keep it. Maybe they can sell me an allowed dual band WLAN card for less.

    Does this bios contain wi-fi modules whitelist or not? Maybe I don't need to worry about adapter id?

    ALL HP laptops have a WWAN/WLAN whitelist which vary from a model to an other.
