    sorry, there is no BIOS files for my laptop at Lenovo site. Is there anything we can do to patch this dump? It is successfully decompiling with phoenix tools, though i dont know what exactly i have to change in it :(
    please help

    a phoenix dumped/backup bios is not complete, the "platfom information" is missing, useless, it cannot be flashed.

    I have an Lenovo Thinkpad T410 with original BIOS and SLIC

    Do i keep my original SLIC if I flash an modified BIOS without SLIC added?

    you should not lose SLIC table after flashing a modified bios.

    that just mean that i've removed an old (useless) bios mod with slic2.1.
    For SLIC 2.1 insertion a hack is no more needed.

    Ah, ok. So downloading that lenovo x120e 1.12 bios means that I can use my OEM Lenovo Windows 7 ultimate cd without having to use a loader?

    Included in this package there is all necessary for x120e SLIC insertion (if your machine need it, you must check), if you have a doubt, upload a ACPI RW report.
    And yes, you will not have to use a loader any more.
