    Hi,

    Does anyone have access to the latest whitelist bios for a Thinkpad X201 (version 1.37). I have been trying to find it for a while now and have even joined bbs.bios.net.cn, but there seems to be a problem with validation of the user account. Thanks.

    Any chance there is another link to this 7uuj47us bios ? Or the phx tool version 1.82 - I only have 1.36 and that fails when running in 64bit mode :(
    UPDATE: nevermind. I found the 1.91 update and that seems to work! sorry for the post. Of course if the original patched verision is available, I'd take that though....

    Nobody (who knows how) seems to want to do requests anymore :( i have one and willing to pay/donate for your time. PM me if you can do it.

    1.update officials 1.30 original bios
    2.use winflash from the modded bios file and flash it

    many thanks, so I will use the winflash.exe and do not need to modify anything, right?
    will sort out some issue with the wifi antennae and flahs the bios. Let you know my results.

    Acer Aspire 5610

    Hello all, hope you can shed some light on this. Tried replacing an intel 3945 with an intel 5100 in my aspire 5610, boots ok,
    drivers install ok, windows 7 sees card, no ! in device manager, card is recognized, but when I try using the wifi hardware swith to turn it on it says "no wireless card", intel software says hardware switch is off.

    Is this because Acer has some type of "whitelist for the wifi switch in Bios"?

    I managed to patch the BIOS 1.30 and install the wifi card and it is working like a charm now!
    Many thanks for your help and effort in modding the BIOS
