I have a lenovo X120E and I applied the modded bios to the system. But when I go to replace the current mini-pcie wireless card and boot the system just hangs. If I put the card (Intel Centrino Advanced N-6230) in the full size pci-e slot it only recognizes the Bluetooth part of it. I have tried this in both Ubuntu and Windows and this same thing happens.

Do I have a bad card? or what do I need to do to make this work?

I flashed the bios with the current wireless card in there, do I need to remove the current wireless card before flashing and replace it with the new Centrino Advanced N-6230 after?

Please help, I would love to get this card working all the way.

    Thanks for any responses.

This is no longer an issue. I made a mod to my BIOS and everything works fine. The mod was to MOD_5100.ROM, rebuilt BIOS and flashed.

I am now working on my router that has a channel width issue in N only but I am passing ~115 Megs. in mixed mode.
    Thank you for you consideration
