    The difference is yours works, his doesn't! His hangs at bootup when an unsupported card is installed but seems to work otherwise. Yours works perfectly, allowing the machine to use an unsupported card. BTW, it works fine under Windows. I simply used WinRAR to extract the 8fuj09us-nwl folder and ran WinFlash.

    For those looking for a no-whitelist patched v1.16 BIOS for Thinkpad X120e, see post 1750 on page 175, download the file then use WinRAR to extract for use under Windows.

    :biggrin:Many thanks to qtm and rekd0514 for this link which I used today on my T60, it got rid of the 1802 error and I was able to set up my new wifi card to run Lion OS X.

    regards to all you very helpful and knowledgeable people it is most appreciated.
