Many thanks to qtm and rekd0514 for this link which I used today on my T60, it got rid of the 1802 error and I was able to set up my new wifi card to run Lion OS X. regards to all you very helpful and knowledgeable people it is most appreciated.
WinFlash writes: Corrupted interface descriptors in the new bios file Part Table Signature not found in the Interface. Error code: -161 awd/ami and the uniflash utility don't work under dos, the BIOS appears read-only for them. Which other options do I have? There is a InsydeFlash, which seems to work well, but with some kind of *.bin files and not the rom's.
but if we leave the whitelist, can I at least flash a BIOS, with the "new" card? If yes, could you "patch" the other BIOS, which I gave you a link to? I would try to flash with InsydeFlash. Or how can I flash the BIOS mod you made? Because no utility seems to be working with it!!! thanks for your aid. I think something should be done against those whitelists... I don't think, that it goes right, as every consumer should be able to choose his supplier. And I think we could be successful, as what they do seems me very pro-monopolistic. what do you think?
If the bios is RSA signed, it cannot be modified in any way. Patching an existing hardware ID inside the bios I will alter the checksum generated by the RSA algorithm and the flasher will detect the modification. Patching the flasher too we will be able to flash a bios with a bad RSA sign but a bios with a broken RSA signature can brick your PC so ..... Nothing to do, Sorry
Hello! I try to flash your's modded bios, but EROMPAQ sad, that "error when reading file" and offer rewrite file or recreate disk. Previous modded bios (it is that bricked my laptop) write without any errors's messages from EROMPAQ. Thanks for the helping. P.S. method with bios recovery (Win+И without battery don't work with last modded bios).
