If you're already flashing it, keep the drive plugged in, as quite a few of the MP flash tools will act as if it has frozen and show no progress for a while. If you remove the drive during the flash process you may as well throw the USB drive away (kinda' like shutting down a PC in the middle of a BIOS flash).

I do have the .bin + flash tool that will work for this

I'm getting the following error. I am using a USB 3.0 port.

    Edit:
Got it to work. I had to select the burner and firmware files in settings as they were defaulted to the wrong directory.

    Thanks again for your help!

How did you determine which version of Phison MPALL to use?

Woooo! Congrats and glad I could help!

I determined which version of MPALL to use by good ole trial and error. I believe the version I and others suggested is the first version to support the PS2251-07. Newer versions would probably work too.

That tool should work for your device as well. Only difference being when you are in settings, change the controller dropdown from PS2251-07 to PS2251-03.

You're welcome as it was my research into the issue and solution that he and apparently you used to fix it. But it's good that apparently you don't need to use MPALL at all if I am reading this correctly. Not sure why you guys had issues with my instructions when someone else with the same exact chipset got it to work but whatevs.

I could be wrong but i think that using this usb means its compatibile as a device because other usb's sometimes are storage ones and not the ones that you can boot from . I can already tell the difference in how my system works after using mct on this usb and fresh installing latest version . I just think this usb is compatibile as a device to install windows from not like some usb's which are designed to store data rather than boot from. Thats just how it looks and feels for me and its so much better with this usb compared to all sandisks and kingsotns ive used in the past . Just my 2 cents !
