I have just started again from scratch. All provisioned Apps removed. Win32calc added.
Installed ok and running it as I type.
Will run it for a bit and see if I notice owt amiss.

Cortana and Edge to test next.

I have one thing in mind I may try. Just for the fun of it. Take the browser packages from 8.1 and try to add them to 10. Removing ALL browser packages first

btw, it takes virtually no time when you know what to remove and how. just click and go! well, at least not more than writing some regularly meaningless comments how good is windows as it is.. :worthy: why removals? it's not about only trying to solve "m$ spying on you" topic! there is too many annoyances you can't easily solve or customize using other methods.
yes, some debugging and trial'n'try need to be done as with every other customization out here. some of us love windows as it is, some of us not.. really not a big deal. no really need to worry about how others like to use their systems.

Just this very minute finished messing.

I have extracted ALL IE Packages from both Win 10 and Win 8.1 x64 images.

I have just removed Edge and ALL IE packages from a Win 10 image.

Going to do a test install just to see what will happen.

Then I will TRY!!!! TRY to add the Win 8.1 IE packages to my Win 10 image. And see if I can or not.

Just for a giggle more than owt else....

I HATE THAT LITTLE YELLOW SMILY FACE !!!

Removing all the IE packages does not allow Windows to be installed. Just get stuck in a loop.

    NO !!!!

You CAN NOT ADD Win 8.1 packages..
