I forgot about the dotNetFx4_ESU_Installer_v4 tool mentioned in step #31 of my guide.

CaptainSpeleo, me too, I forget almost every time I install Vista. It take 2 or 3 error codes before I realize

 

I'm closing in on "the big 8-0", so I guess I'm entitled to occasionally have "a senior moment".
