Conspiracy fantasist circle jerkathon of mutual reinforcement. Don't worry, they'll get distracted by a shiny thing in a minute and wander off again.

Think most should be more concerned with your isp logging and gathering info instead of M$. I dont care what OS you have, your isp logs and gathers info on all connected. Think some have forgotten to take their meds. lol To limit keylogging, yes but all the other crap ppl are saying is just paranoia. If you are that scared then dont go online and all will be good...with M$, isp, phones, etc. Offline is always safe. ;)

TOR Browser and encryption say hi. ISP logging means nothing if they can't see what is being done anyway. Continue doing nothing, and contributing nothing but platitudes and tired cliches like certain others. We don't care. We poke and prod and seek and learn and take control. If you're too spineless to even try, leave us to it. I also find it funny and contradictory to call efforts to protect yourself "paranoid" while at the same time fully admitting you know the invasive tech is there. There's a disconnect of logic that I just can't and don't care to try to follow.

If you've given up and don't mind Microsoft and others rummaging through your personal information, why are you even here? Give them whatever you like. We choose to not put up with it. They aren't getting ours.:tea:
./ficks a shiny thing off and out of the thread.

@cyberloner I own several tablets with custom android on them, that's the good thing about android you can install custom rom without this whole Google junkware. There's no custom windows. Ios is similar to Windows you have no custom ioses and you have to accept whatever apple trow at you. Ios to tell the truth is even worse than windows and the main reason is that as soon as you upgrade to newer ios you can't downgrade ever again. that's why I have only android tablets and phones

To understand this better, basically RPC is an inter-process communication (IPC) method.

This is used by clients and servers for communication purposes. RPC is used by programs to execute programs on a server computer. The perfect example of this is Microsoft Outlook. You communicate with Microsoft Exchange Server using RPC.

This enables you to send and receive emails. When you use Microsoft Outlook to send emails, your computer sends a message to the server computer in an obscure coding.

The server responds to your computer with another message that contains the results of the executed program. This is all being carried at the backend of the running program.

Integral to this is the endpoint. Endpoint includes the name, port, or a group of ports on a computer that is monitored by the server for incoming client requests.

Yes, i already know that. I was wrong, it never changed on reboot. No problems, so now microsoft cant spy on me when KMS is activated on reboots.

error = 1753 (EPT_S_NOT_REGISTERED) There are no more endpoints available from the endpoint mapper .
The endpoint mapper is the part of the RPC subsystem that is responsible for dynamically assigning endpoints to the server.

Windows 10 data mining has been caught
All text typed on the keyboard is stored in temporary files, and sent (once per 30 mins) to:

    oca.telemetry.microsoft.com.nsatc.net
    pre.footprintpredict.com
    reports.wes.df.telemetry.microsoft.com

Telemetry is sent once per 5 minutes, to:

    vortex.data.microsoft.com
    vortex-win.data.microsoft.com
    telecommand.telemetry.microsoft.com
    telecommand.telemetry.microsoft.com.nsatc.net
    oca.telemetry.microsoft.com
    oca.telemetry.microsoft.com.nsatc.net
    sqm.telemetry.microsoft.com
    sqm.telemetry.microsoft.com.nsatc.net

typing the name of any popular movie into your local file search starts a telemetry process that indexes all media files on your computer and transmits them to:

    df.telemetry.microsoft.com
    reports.wes.df.telemetry.microsoft.com
    cs1.wpc.v0cdn.net
    vortex-sandbox.data.microsoft.com
    pre.footprintpredict.com

When a webcam is first enabled, ~35mb of data gets immediately transmitted to:

    oca.telemetry.microsoft.com
    oca.telemetry.microsoft.com.nsatc.net
    vortex-sandbox.data.microsoft.com
    i1.services.social.microsoft.com
    i1.services.social.microsoft.com.nsatc.net

Everything that is said into an enabled microphone is immediately transmitted to:

    oca.telemetry.microsoft.com
    oca.telemetry.microsoft.com.nsatc.net
    vortex-sandbox.data.microsoft.com
    pre.footprintpredict.com
    i1.services.social.microsoft.com
    i1.services.social.microsoft.com.nsatc.net
    telemetry.appex.bing.net
    telemetry.urs.microsoft.com
    cs1.wpc.v0cdn.net
    statsfe1.ws.microsoft.com

If this weren't bad enough, this behaviour still occurs after Cortana is fully disabled/uninstalled. It's speculated that the purpose of this function to build up a massive voice database, then tie those voices to identities, and eventually be able to identify anyone simply by picking up their voice, whether it be a microphone in a public place or a wiretap on a payphone.

Interestingly, if Cortana is enabled, the voice is first transcribed to text, then the transcription is sent to:

    pre.footprintpredict.com
    reports.wes.df.telemetry.microsoft.com
    df.telemetry.microsoft.com

While the inital reflex may be to block all of the above servers via HOSTS, it turns out this won't work: Microsoft has taken the care to hardcode certain IPs, meaning that there is no DNS lookup and no HOSTS consultation. However, if the above servers are blocked via HOSTS, Windows will pretend to be crippled by continuously throwing errors, while still maintaining data collection in the background. Other than an increase in errors, HOSTS blocking did not affect the volume, frequency, or rate of data being
