Anyone know of a way to disable the services: Tile Data Model Server State Repository The moment you stop the tile data model, it restarts itself and the other seems unable to stop. Neither can be stopped through the services menu or CMD
Please forgive my noobishness, but I've read most of the posts on this thread, and a fair amount in the activators thread, but I haven't been able to come to a conclusion - are KMS/Vl activators safe to use on Win10 with regard to telemetry ? Does Win10 report their use ? What are the "(MDL) official" telemetry disabling mechanisms - ones that don't break Windows updates etc, but disable arbitrary communication with MS ? Thanks for your work,
Separate post bcos separate question. What is the opinion of tools such as hxxps://github.com/W4RH4WK/Debloat-Windows-10 hxxps://github.com/10se1ucgo/DisableWinTracking/releases I ask bcos many of the measures I see in this thread seem likely to block useful traffic, whereas these are aimed at just the telemetry from what I can see.
Hi@all, when I remove a package, I get this output: Code: MountPath : "C:\mount" Component : "Microsoft-OneCore-AllowTelemetry-Reduced-Default-Package" ------------------Starting----------------- Creating BKP of registry file... OK Mounting registry file... OK Taking Ownership... OK Editing 'Packages' subkeys 1/1OK Editing 'PackagesPending' subkeys FAIL - Key not exist Modifying registry completed sucessfully. Unmounting key... OK Removing 'Packages'... 1/1OK Removed packages successfully. Removing 'PackagesPending'... 1/1OK Removed packages successfully. -------------------Ending------------------ There is always the ouput Code: Editing 'PackagesPending' subkeys FAIL - Key not exist Is this "normal" or do I have to change something ?
there broken packets that sent from random ips to system pid 4 from outsite to local port 53 Im unable to block them any idea ?
Port 53 (TCP/UDP) is for DNS. It is not recommended to block. Just look up some trustworthy, free, open dns servers.
Normal the install_wim_tweak tool was designed for Win7, which have that PackagesPending key Win8 and up doesn't have it
