What I mean is that there's no need to continue with the environmental tests; defining the final version of BOS45 depends on the choice of the boot disk. Installing from different boot drives or copying files will be different.
I have the original BackOffice Dev CDs, created bootdisks with WINNT /OX. Never had any NFR message. The list of files is located in TXTSETUP.SIF.
Hello. Your collection is impressive. Can you share these ISO images? (you can in a private message) Code: +1999-07 - PC Server Combo 5V1000004 - Windows NT 4.0 SP5 [French] (CD) [X04-93143] 694,024,636 +1999-07 - PC Server Combo 5V1000005 - Windows NT 4.0 SP5 [Spanish] (CD) [X04-93144] 690,390,178 +1999-08 - PC Server Combo 6V1000002 - Windows NT 4.0 SP5 [Portuguese-BR] (CD) [X04-97294] 689,848,443 +2000-02 - PC Server Combo 02V10003 - Windows NT 4.0 SP6a [Portuguese-BR] (CD) [X05-51196] 783,607,083 +2000-02 - PC Server Combo 02V10005 - Windows NT 4.0 SP6a [Spanish] (CD) [X05-52683] 784,736,052 +2000-02 - PC Server Combo 02V10006 - Windows NT 4.0 SP6a [English] (CD) [X05-52682] 823,258,569 +2000-02 - PC Server Combo 02V10007 - Windows NT 4.0 SP6a [French] (CD) [X05-53183] 786,917,560 I need this to create a multilingual collection of IE4sp2(x86), IEsp2(alpha), IE5.0(RTM). And to check the existing files. Thank you.
No problem, you chose the perfect time. If this hard drive is already full, I will no longer fiddle with or search for files. I recently backed up my early Microsoft Download Center and update catalog, which contained many multilingual files, patches, installation files, and update files for early products. I haven't had time to organize these files lately; I only briefly checked some. They weren't archived on IA Time Machine and are considered "rare outdated items." I'll compile a huge list when I have time. This is thanks to early personal archive contributions; I only made a single backup.
that would be great. I would like to take a look at this. Maybe you have direct links to updates. or log files with links? for this topic. https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/9x-me-windowsupdate-log-files.83215/
Will upload 3fedcb72c8a2e7718ddb576207026a2975266ea6 *cs_windows_98_a_115_oem.iso as well. That should be all, except that "100" internal. Edit: Was already uploaded as 05e0bd8d675b3963ea2c80ab20554c2bab03ddaa *cs_win98_120.iso Is "120" really a thing?
You did not upload a copy of the file.Here, not MEGA Drive I suddenly remembered something: doesn't the BOS45 DEV have both FPP and SEL versions?
BOS45 DEV has retail NT Server. The Select version ofc has Select NT server. i'm starting to believe the only difference is the "Frontend 2000 Developper version" added to the box and the 10CAL limited is not really a thing at the end of the day.
@Babass_ Try string: 6E 66 72 31 30 75 73 72 / nfr10usr LICCPA.CPL (string not always present in a NFR version, example > fr_winnt_4.0_srv_ent_rtl_sp3_040bit_msdn_19971114_cd1_nfr.iso) LLSSRV.EXE (string always present in a NFR version)
I don't have time to organize these things right now; I'll let you know when I'm done. One more suggestion: the update patch links you provided are rather disorganized. Although they are all grouped into broad categories, such as NT patches and 9x patches, there is no clear categorization of which patches should be used for which system version. For example, for 98 patches, it's unclear which ones are specifically for 98 and which ones are for 98SE.
