I would also be happy with an unsorted update package. And unprocessed logs. If any WU logs (*.log *.xml, *.txt, etc.) are still there. I will extract the link myself. Or just the full filenames (with tails, not defined hashes) were preserved Then I can create a link like here and below: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/9x-me-windowsupdate-log-files.83215/page-19#post-1892791 unfortunately I can't organize or change the previously posted patches right now. for technical reasons (don't have access to a computer). just use this as a saved archive. A saved archive of various updates, in different languages, without analysis for replacements and relevance. Everyone can make their own package, or choose the updates they need.
On the CD it's written English but no English folder on the CD. Since there is much more on the MSDN CD I think it's not the same.
#6 - other than that i have no reference... [FRA] fr_winME_111_msdn-ship_cd1_20000608.iso I dunno how i missed that one Thanks for the korean, i clearly have more work todo...
A long time ago, I was sent a private message with several MSDN 111 ISO images. The author wished to remain anonymous. The hashes matched the checksums from Vanelle. So I shared the images with Sajjo. I don't have the discs themselves.
Okay, that's odd, since they usually released these "Versions" compilation CD (as well as a French/German combo) I had no idea they bothered releasing standalone versions. Was Windows Me 116 even a thing ?
The msdn has been verified by vanelle so they should be good. He has done a lot of work on this. I have not seen a ME 116 (yet anyway) Only 101, 102, 110, 111, 112, 115 is pretty much verified the best possible. If you spot anything suspicious, we love to look at them again ofc. Example: Windows 95c - osr 2.5 with Plus! - English version. | My Digital Life Forums Code: cd0de13ab1ac9d4c2842ec8a3dbecf3d2cb89e27 *en_win95_19971126_oem_fpp_plus.iso b9b87cfedec356574b737e533ec667f0e42988b0 *en_win95_19971201_oem_fpp_plus.iso I raised this question long ago hoping someone with the physical cd could validate one of/or both SHA-1 So yeah, a question too much is better than none at all.
@Babass_ Re-checked Spanish version and indeed found me some more NFR's, at upload time this was not fully understand but now there is a better understanding of these images. Perhaps the easiest way to distinguish NFR and commercial is by looking at size so you don't have to string search each file...
Retail and Select should be identical (both non-NFR), MSDN/NFR should be different yes. That's basically how I checked my french CDs once I found out about this mess. I remember CPL file is smaller, don't remember about the LLSSRV.EXE one. Also there might be small revisions for these files between NFR versions, depending on the written message (if it mentions NFR or BackOffice test version) when you try to change the licence in the control panel (and during install of NT 3.51 too you get a reminder about NFR or BackOffice test).
LLSSRV.EXE seems most reliable to distinguish NFR/non_NFR in size. Have not tried to differentiate NFR/BackOffice, maybe those are stored in one of the two files, same as language... Ok, have not really started on these yet...
For NT 3.51 it's basically the same story, MSDN releases for NT Server have limited licences (but it's not 10, sometimes it's 5). Noticed something odd : Windows 98 SE Retail English : CDIMAGE 2.39, mastered 23/04/1999 22:22:00 Windows 98 SE Upgrade English : CDIMAGE 2.39, mastered 23/04/1999 22:22:00 Windows 98 SE Select English : CDIMAGE 2.39, mastered 23/04/1999 22:22:00 (There might be a difference depending of your timezone, but doesn't matter I just want to point out it's the same for all 3). Windows 98 SE Retail French : CDIMAGE 2.36, mastered 06/05/1999 06:22:00 Windows 98 SE Upgrade French : CDIMAGE 2.36, mastered 06/05/1999 06:22:00 Windows 98 SE Select French : CDIMAGE 2:38, mastered 05/05/1999 22:22:00 (so 8 hours before) So different CDIMAGE version, and a 8 hour shift for the French Select CD. Weird... don't you think ?
