Thanks for links. This is actually 3rd time it happened. It was always .NET MSU and it was always MS mistake.
These had ARM MSUs published in MU Catalog too: November, 2016 Preview of Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1 on Windows 8.1 RT for ARM-based Systems (KB3196684) December, 2016 Security Only Update for .NET Framework 4.6.2 on Windows 8.1 RT for ARM-based Systems (KB3205410)
Hey folks! If this is the wrong place to post this, just let me know. I reset my RT tablet because of perceived Windows Store issues (turns out my installation was fine, and I should have left well enough alone). Anyway, I went to the Windows Store to reinstall my apps. One app I wanted to reinstall was Bing Wikipedia Browser. But in the last two weeks, the app has been removed from the Store. Now, I understand that if I can obtain the AppX package files, I can use Powershell to install the app. Does anyone know how I might possibly be able to obtain the app, without its being on the Windows Store?
Try to look in Store in menu subcategory "Your owned apps" (or something like that). Right click on Wikipedia and click install on bottom bar.
@moderate i suppose for RT its included in KB4471320. Read issue for KB4483187. IE about shows KB4470199 (the December 11, 2018 security update for Internet Explorer) and jscript.dll is v5.8.9600.19230. So let it go)
Since this is one of the very few RT threads still active on the internet I guess this is the best place I can ask if there's no way to get .NET Framework 4.6 and 4.7 on Windows RT 8.0? I already guess not which is kinda sad cause I just downgraded my Surface RT to 8.0. I also saw you posted about an OpenVPN build earlier, would it be possible to send me a link to that?
