as title say why not have special Linux from MDL project
Like there isn't enough Linux distros out there already.
Anyways there is a lot more to creating and maintaining a distro than just creating it and releasing it. It takes an entire team of people that are needed for maintaining packages and keeping them updated, a web host to store ISOs and a repository, an entire support forum (not just a section), bug tracker, a wide variety of hardware like a x86 machine, x86_64 machine, arm devices, etc, etc. It is well beyond the scope that MDL can provide.
