    hi,

i need a modded UEFI!? Bios for my new Edge 530.

i try to use a mask:

    -Manufacturer: Lenovo
    -Motherboard Model:
    -Bios revision: xx
    -Bios Type: UEFI
    -Bios Download Link: download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/h0uj11ww.exe
    -Current original card (like): intel 2230 VEN_8086 DEV_0888 SUBSYS_42628086
-Card to be added (like): FCC ID: PPD-AR5BHB92-H

i wish i had the VEN_ DEV_ SUBSYS_ ids for the new card.. but the bios stops the boot so i cant read the hardware ID! ;(...

in the best way the bios whitelist should be deactivated...
i want to buy a cheaper wwan mini PCI card
i want to buy a cheaper SSD

    i tried:
    - dl the bios
    - unpacked the files
    - phcomp´ed the *.fl1 to *.flh
    - opened the *.flh in an editor
    - tried to find anything about VEN_DEV_ to get the "whitelist block" and perhaps to add my new card but i didnt find anything ;(

    HELP NEEDED plz! ;)

    Thomas

    *edit

so if u close lid.. it doesnt go to sleep ?? click start.. then
press the right arrow 2 times.. click sleep.

after u insert.. in device manager u can click Action, Scan for hardware changes.
